This 15-part web-based lecture series brings world-renowned experts in infant and early mental health research and practice to you in an accessible and flexible format that can be easily integrated into staff development and continuing professional education.
The series will provide insight into the foundational science of infant and early mental health, the importance of promotion and prevention policies and strategies, and evidence-based interventions and treatment approaches.
Presented jointly by Infant and Early Mental Health Promotion (IEMHP) at the Hospital for Sick Children and the World Association for Infant Mental Health (WAIMH), featured speakers include:

When you register, you will:
Have access to 15 recorded lectures, each approximately 2 hours in length, until September 2024
Be able to view the lecture recordings at your leisure
Be eligible to receive a certificate of completion once all requirements are met
Have your own account, giving you the ability to track your progress
Have access to additional resources provided by presenters, and
Have complimentary access to the 2020/21 Lecture Series (additional 26 hours of content) until September 2024. These earlier sessions are included as optional bonus content and do not provide certificates.

2024 Membership Options
Individual: $45 for 1 year or $80 for 2 years
Student $20 for 1 year or $30 for 2 years
Agency: $400 for 1 year for up to 10 employees (each additional employee $45)
The Individual & Student Memberships can be purchased for 1 or 2 years whereas Agency memberships run for 1 year. Membership is required to access AK-AIMH benefits and to apply for/renew an endorsement. Student membership is an honor system; AK-AIMH does not require proof of student status.
Agency memberships allow a program or agency to sign up a maximum of 10 employees for the membership. Agencies need to provide this list within the database as prompted. The list must include an email address for each person. Agencies can sponsor contractors and community partners if the agency/program doesn't employ ten (10) people. We appreciate our Agency members sponsoring affiliated individuals who might not otherwise become members.

Please Note: Our membership is renewed annually, and is valid from January-December each year, regardless of when payment is made.
How to Join
New members can register in the EASy system. Select “Alaska” from the first dropdown option. Choose “Membership Only” from the Endorsement Category dropdown if you do not wish to create an Endorsement® application.
Please note: Agency Members will be asked to provide the names and emails of the employees who will be covered under the agency membership.
If you are unable to complete the online process, please download a paper application and mail it with your check to the address on the form. This option is only available to INDIVIDUAL and STUDENT membership applicants.

AK-AIMH is a member of the Alliance for the Advancement of Infant Mental Health®. The Alliance is a global organization that includes those states and countries whose infant mental health associations have licensed the use of the workforce development tools, Competency Guidelines® and Endorsement for Culturally Sensitive, Relationship-Focused Practice Promoting Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health®, under their associations’ names. There are now 32 US states and 2 international associations for a total of 34 Alliance members.
